Ben Dembla supports nonprofit organizations that advocate animal welfare, such as the Hooved Animal Rescue and Protection Society (HARPS).

Founded in 2001 by animal welfare advocate Donna Ewing, HARPS promotes and provides humane treatment of animals, particularly horses and other hooved animals. It implements various programs to achieve its mission, such as rescue, rehabilitation, education, and legislation.

Over the years, HARPS has rescued and rehabilitated hundreds of horses and farm animals. During rehabilitation, the animals are assessed and taken care of by veterinarians. They receive appropriate treatment and refeeding diet to fight starvation. The animals that were restored to health are evaluated for possible adoption. HARPS provides life-long care to animals that are not qualified for adoption.
